What you will find and why you are here

Welcome to Sweet Bottom Sewing Company - Celebrating a life made simpler by sewing! For a while now, family and friends have asked me to post photos of the things I have made or can make so they could share them with their friends. What started out as a necessity, sewing, has become a great love and hobby and remains a constant adventure. I don't really follow patterns, I just have a feel for something and go with it. From bedding and window treatments to fun applique shirts and monogrammed towels, everything is done with love. Check out the Photo Galleries links below (on the left) to see more of my fun stuff! My FaceBook page is filled with albums of photos of custom orders of shirts, baby gifts, draperies and monogramming ideas.

You won't find just sewing stuff here either. It's become much more than that. Sweetbottom has become a part of our lives and that life is getting put down on the screen right alongside the flags and onesie dresses. Welcome Y'all.

Monogramming Samples
Not all monograms are alike.  In fact, every monogram I do is completely different. It's custom work.  This is why I provide you with several fonts, letter layouts and design ideas to choose from.  Some letters just don't look good in the traditional triangle or circle three letter monogram layout.  "L"s don't look good in the diamond shape pattern and "V"s don't really show up well except for in standard block fonts. You tell me how traditional or formal or casual you want to go and I will provide you, via e-mail, a word document with up to 10 different monogram layouts and color combinations using the actual letters.  If you see something on my blog (or on the web for that matter) that you like just tell me and we will try it out.  You never know how something will look until you test it.  We'll keep doing samples until you find the one you love.

We want you to be completely happy with your decisions and feel confident with your selection.

Shipping and Delivery Times
  • For tees, blankets, bibs and backpacks, estimated completion and shipping times are around 3 - 5 days.
  • Custom pillows (embroidered) take about a week to cut out, embroider and assemble.
  • Hand painted silhouette pillows take 7 days to let the paint cure for assembly.
I will ship everything out of town via FedEx Economy Ground (2-3 day) delivery unless you want to discuss expedited shipping.  Shipping charges are a flat $4.00.  USPS can be done if you want to waive the $4.00 shipping fee and we'll just cross our fingers.  Order something and we'll figure out how to get it to you.

Is it a gift?  I'll wrap it for you at no charge.... Easy ain't it?

Money
I prefer PayPal as the primary  form of payment.  It protects us both and is just plain easy.  If you don't want to use that send me a check. I don't do credit cards at this time.  Too many fees and too much hassle.  Prefer not supporting the banks if I can help it.
